Las Vegas New Years Eve, 31 December 2011
There’s a large amount of reasons to visit Las Vegas on new years eve, 31 December 2011. Not only is it a Top 10 vacation / holiday hotspot for US and international visitors alike, it’s one of those places that once you’ve visited you’ll never forget. And if you’re like me, you’ll want to return there more and more. It’s a party place, a happening place, a fun place. Las Vegas certainly knows how to throw a party.
There’s the Las Vegas New Years Eve party and firework display, which always attracts large crowds. There are eight major hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas strip participating this year, including the MGM Grand, Aria, Tropicana Las Vegas, Treasure Island, Venetian, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, and Stratosphere. All fireworks displays begin at midnight. You’ll be able to see this amazing fireworks spectacle from just about anywhere on the Las Vegas Strip. Get yourself a good position early.
There are also a range of concerts in Las Vegas on New Years Eve. This year you are spoilt for choice. Choose from Celine Dion at the Colliseum at Caesars Palace, David Copperfield at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, R&B star Drake at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, Motown icon Stevie Wonder at The Cosmopolitan, and the smooth sounds of John Legend at the Palms. Put these concerts alongside the major stage shows always in Las Vegas like Love (the Beatles), La Reve at the Wynn, and others, and your New Years Eve in Las Vegas will be awesome, regardless of which option you choose!
If you visit Las Vegas this new years eve, do let me know. I’ll be jealous, but very supportive. If you’re not travelling, don’t want to go and face the crowds, or can’t afford the trip, then have some fun from home and earn yourself some holiday cash beating one or more of the casinos you’ll find on our website – including Casino.com, Jackpot City Casino, or any of the others.
