Las Vegas Nightclub UFO Lighting Setups

30 January 2023

I’ve been to a few Las Vegas nightclubs, and some of them are pretty cool. They have millions of dollars of sound and lighting equipment in them, and the entertainment is simply top notch. To be fair, the price of the drinks is top too – but not in a good way. You can easily [...]

Sourced from Wynninfo.com, Wynn Resorts has decided to temporarily close Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, as a preventative measure. The Company has committed to pay all full-time Wynn and Encore employees during the closure. The closure will be effective Tuesday, March 17 at 6 pm and is [...]

Las Vegas Pinball Hall of Fame

3 June 2018

On this trip I was finally able to to visit the Pinball Hall of Fame. Run by a team of enthusiasts, and with all proceeds being gifted to the Salvation Army, the Pinball Hall of Fame has several hundred coin operated pinball machines, from a variety of decades, lovingly restored. [...]

The True Las Vegas Experience

4 September 2016

Whether you are coming to Vegas for the casinos and hopes of finding fame and fortune, the fantastic shows and big name headliners, the fantastic food that is among the biggest sins to be found in this city, golf, union and happily ever after, or the nightlife that's earned Vegas the title of 'Sin City'. You are well on your own way to an experience you are unlikely to forget. [...]

Bye Bye Riviera Hotel Casino Las Vegas

17 August 2016

I was reading today that the final towers of the Riviera Las Vegas Hotel and Casino were imploded today, some months after the old hotel towers were imploded. This event now completes the implosion of the Riviera Hotel and Casino property, leaving the land vacant and ready for the Las Vegas Convention Centre expansion to begin. I have mixed feelings, having only been in Las Vegas 6 months ago, and having previously stayed for a week at the Riviera just the year before. [...]

You Can See The World In Las Vegas

3 July 2016

Las Vegas today offers many of the wonders of the world on a much smaller scale to its visitors. There is actually nowhere else on earth you'll be able to go and see all the sights and watch the delight of the experience that is Las Vegas. With so much to do and see it is a wonder that anyone ever gets sleep in this great town. [...]

Las Vegas Holiday Planning Tips

3 July 2016

If you're planning a trip to Vegas in the near future there are a few fundamental things you ought to know. First things first, walking shoes are a must for any trip to Vegas. You'll probably be spending a lot of time in your feet and will need shoes that can manage standing in lines and walking rather nicely. [...]

Riviera Hotel Las Vegas Liquidation Sale is May 4, 2015

18 April 2015

I learnt today that The Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada is closing, and will have it's liquidation sale on May 4, 2015. Whilst that provides a good opportunity for Las Vegas locals to pick up a second hand blackjack table, roulette wheel and table, or slot machine, I'm very sad to see this Hotel Casino with 60 years of history closing. [...]

Las Vegas History – Beautifully Presented

17 August 2009

It’s not often that I find something on the Internet that I truly think has been done well. But today I found something, on the Las Vegas Sun website. Las Vegas Sun is one of the news publications covering the Las Vegas area – and their website is generally pretty good. So, [...]
