To determine the true count, divide the running count by the number of decks remaining in the shoe.

Once you have determined the true count, you can make strategic decisions about your bets and gameplay. If the true count indicates that there are more high cards remaining in the shoe, you may want to increase your bets as your chances of getting a blackjack or winning hand are higher. On the other hand, if the true count shows that there are more low cards left, you may want to decrease your bets or avoid certain hands as the chances of winning are lower.

It’s important to be aware that card counting is not illegal, but casinos may not appreciate it and may ask you to leave or ban you from their establishment if they suspect you are doing it. Mastering card counting requires discipline and practice, as you must be able to keep track of the running count and determine the true count while also paying attention to your own hands and the dealer’s hand.

Although card counting can give you a slight edge over the casino, it is not a guarantee of winning. Always remember to gamble responsibly and within your limits.
